Wrexham choir seeks sponsorship

Business sponsors are being sought in the area to support Cantorion Rhos choir on a trip to Poland. The choir and its music director Mervyn Cousins, along with accompanist Caroline Tate-Lovery, has been invited to represent Wrexham County Borough and Wales in a choral festival at the Hall of Culture in Raciborz, Poland.

Firms failing to help staff get on bikes

Few firms are encouraging their employees to get on their bikes to work despite many pledges from companies nationwide to go green, according to research.

The findings from YouGov and office space providers MWB Business Exchange reveal that only 11 per cent of UK businesses provide secure bike areas for their workers.
