Wrexham businessman sets his sights high…

One Wrexham businessman has set his sights a little higher than being boss of an IT firm - he’s off to Kenya to climb Africa’s highest mountain.
Richard Morris, managing director of Wrexham-based MCW group, is in training to prepare himself for the 19,340ft climb up Kilamanjaro starting on June 30.
He has already raised £5,000 for the Children’s Society.

Best Rural Retailer Competition Launched

The Countryside Alliance will launch its third annual Best Rural Retailer competition on 2nd July and many are determined to take a national title this year, following Rhug Organic’s commendations in 2005 and 2006. The Best Rural Retailer competition is a UK-wide initiative aimed at celebrating rural communities through their retailers, food, traditions and skills. The competition will open to nominations on 2nd July at www.bestruralretailer.co.uk.
