Yellow Pages and the Startups Awards are searching for the most inspirational over-50 “Silver Fox” business owner.

They are looking for someone who employs fewer than 60 people, has a business that is privately-owned and less than three years old and has a story that will inspire others.

Judges will be looking for unique and innovative business ideas, along with evidence of some commercial success and sheer bravery and determination.

Yellow Pages, who are sponsoring the awards, want to shine a spotlight on small business champions whose passion and expertise will encourage others with the same level of experience and life skills to follow in their footsteps.

The development at Eagles Meadow in Wrexham has been designed around a series of dynamic, new, urban spaces, which will be integrated within the existing network of streets and squares. Latest figures show that:

• Eagles Meadow will elevate Wrexham into the top 80 UK retail destinations.
• Primary catchment is projected to increase by 39% to 261,000.
• High spending 25-44 dominant age group.
• £312m available spend for non-food categories in primary catchment.
• Wrexham’s clothing market size projected to grow 47% to £90m.
• Car ownership is 10% above UK average.
