Wrexham firm launches innovative range of training DVDs

Wrexham-based Red Owl Training will today launch an innovative range of training DVDs showing computer users how to operate the latest programmes. The DVDs have been developed with IT training company MCW Group Ltd and Cheshire-based film director and new media expert Robert Cade.

Kronospan chips in to help

Chirk Chipboard firm Kronospan has donated 25 tons of bark to soak up rainwater on the site of the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. The Pavilion field is muddy following the wettest June on record.

Dunelm wet weather boost

Budget homewares firm Dunelm who have a branch in Wrexham reported yesterday that wet weather in May and June boosted sales as shoppers turned to indoor goods, with like-for-like salesahead 6.1%, as total group sales grew 12.5% to £354.7m. According to the British Retail Consortium homewares and textiles were among the big winners of the rainy weather.
