Supplementary Business Rates will hit local jobs warns FSB

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has called on the Government to drop its plans for a supplementary business rate. Local economies will suffer if councils get the ability to raise further funding from the business rate say the FSB. A GB wide national movement ban of all pigs, cattle, sheep and other ruminants has been imposed following the investigation of suspected Foot and Mouth Disease near Guildford in Surrey. As a result no animal movements are allowed except under licence. Read more…
