Ladder safety campaign started

A campaign has been launched in Wrexham to remove unsafe ladders from the workplace. The drive is backed by the Health and Safety Executive in association with industry chiefs and Speedy Hire in Wrexham.
Over 1,200 people were injured seriously injured through falls from ladders last year and the HSE in conjunction with Speedy Hire, are urging companies to help cut the number of injuries by trading in their old and faulty ladders for safer equipment.
Speedy Hire has launched its ladder exchange campaign in Wrexham following a successful trial.

Wrexham Business Week 2007

This years Wrexham Business Week will run from 22 October - 26 October 2007. This will be its sixth year and it just goes on getting bigger and better.
The event is organised by Wrexham County Borough Council’s Economic Development Department, but more and more businesses are discovering the benefits of taking part by sponsoring or running events. Don’t miss this great opportunity to promote your company while providing the local business community with useful information.
Past keynote speakers have included Sir John Harvey Jones, Alvin Hall, Simon Weston, David Dickinson, Saira Khan and Jamie Owen. The Wrexham Business Week programme always offers a mix of events that provide inspiration, information and motivation – plus opportunities for you to network, exchange ideas, solve problems, and build your business.
