Start-ups soar in North Wales

900 businesses in Wales were started by people under the age of 25 in the first half of 2007 according to new figures by Barclays.
Construction, hairdressing, restaurants and leisure were the most popular areas for young business strat-ups. Suprisingly only 3% chose computing.
The survey results revealed that a total of 11,200 new Welsh businesses were set up in the first half of 2007.
