Sainsbury’s and Chester-based property developer Liberty Properties claim the public have given the thumbs up to their plans to develop a £17m business park to the south of Ruabon near Wrexham.
The supermarket giant and property developer said 80% of people who took part in a recent consultation exercise had backed the plans for the project on land adjacent to the A539 which links to the A 483 from Wrexham to Oswestry.
If planning permission is granted for Ruabon Business Park, it will be built in three phases:
Phase One: more than 400 jobs will be created and will include a 33,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s food store and petrol station and an office village.
Phases two and three: the construction of more than 410,000 sq ft of employment space.
